Buying out of season is one of my favorite ways to save on special items, especially when wanting to make a purchase on something I know will last a long time in my closet. This idea is certainly true with the purchase of this beautiful Topshop double breasted lavender coat.
The end of last spring, I wasn’t really thinking about winter wear at all, but on a trip to Nordstrom, Guy pulled this beautiful lavender long coat off the rack. Once my eyes graced this coat I felt that I had to have it. My first thought was, “how much is it?” To my surprise it was $40.00. I couldn’t believe this deal as this was over $100 off the original price.
If you are like me, it was hard to not want to wear my coat right away, but the weather at the time was far too warm. It felt so good to be able to finally wear it this winter. If you are looking for something warm to wear next winter and you don’t mind the wait, now is the time! I have found that this is true for many things. If I wait until the end of a season, I am able to find the best deals as stores are trying to make room for the coming season’s items.
For more ideas on when to buy, here is a great list I came across!
